True to its mission of innovating to make knowledge accessible to all, Kajou is preparing a new revolution in community healthcare. Through its app, the platform offers customized e-learning training and an intelligent chatbot to guide community health workers in their learning and daily interventions.
Faced with the major challenges facing healthcare systems in West Africa, Kajou provides a concrete response. With a tailor-made solution, the aim is to strengthen the skills of community health workers, the real pillars of prevention, patient follow-up and access to care, even in the most isolated areas.
kSanté: training that's accessible even off-line
The course offers 19 essential training modules:knowledge of diseases, diagnosis, management and patient relations.. True to its philosophy of inclusion, Kajou guarantees offline access to this content, enabling healthcare workers to train even in areas without an Internet connection.
To complement the training, an intelligent chatbot will be integrated into the Kajou application. This AI acts as a virtual advisor, answering healthcare workers' questions in real time on practical cases, medical protocols or diagnostic advice. The aim is to provide immediate, reliable assistance, reducing errors and enhancing patient care. All this, without the need for an internet connection, which is a major challenge for rural heroines.
Already successfully launched in Côte d'Ivoire, the program began with a pilot phase called kSanté in the regions of Tchologothe Poro and the Aboisso area.
To date, more than 1386 Kajou SD cards cards have been distributed to a total of 12,000 community health workers (CHWs) in the country.
The ultimate goal is to equip every West African CHW with the kSantéprogram to enhance their skills and effectiveness in the field.
On the strength of this experience, Kajou will roll out this initiative in Senegal in 2025, with the same ambition: to provide modern, accessible tools to improve the quality of care and bring technological solutions closer to the needs of the field.
