Which career path to follow, which academic institution to join, which life and study project, which direction to take? Opt for entrepreneurship, become an employee of a company, a civil servant, a digital content creator? Take over the family business? A panoply of questions that sometimes remain unanswered, like a bottle in the sea...

For an African student, the exercise is all the more complex as it sometimes involves the choice to leave one's country, a choice requiring a real obstacle course to obtain a visa, raise the necessary funds and settle elsewhere, far from one's loved ones, culture and native land.

Of course, guidance counsellors can help you navigate, but no one can make this decision for you when it comes to preparing for your future.

Higher education is a gradual process, built up over the course of one's education from primary to secondary school. Previous generations were influenced by their family and social environment, there was a predefined path, and everyone got on board the higher education locomotive.

Today's school leavers are faced with endless sources of information on the Internet, which are often confusing. Like, for example, starting a course of study online, without having to go anywhere! A revolution, but only if you have access to the Internet.
