On Saturday, December 14, Kajou took part in Show of the Year, a not-to-be-missed event organized by Nitt Doff, one of Senegal's urban music pioneers and CEO of the Fonds de Développement des Cultures Urbaines et des Industries Créatives.
During the event, which brought together thousands of urban music enthusiasts, more than 1,700 young people had the opportunity to discover and access free of charge the African Urban Music Campus. These young talents were onboarded directly onto the Kajou application, giving them privileged access to a high-quality training program, completely free of charge.
Strategic Collaboration for Youth Employment and Empowerment
This partnership between Kajou, Nittdof and the Fonds de Développement des Cultures Urbaines et des Industries Créatives reflects the commitment of cultural players to empowering young people and promoting urban music careers. Thanks to the integration of these young people into the AUMC program, they now benefit from comprehensive and accessible training in key areas such as lyric writing, digital marketing, sound design and career management.
Thanks to this event, Kajou continues to play a key role in the training and emancipation of young talent in West Africa. Access to high-quality teaching resources via the Kajou application and the AUMC course represents a real springboard for young people wishing to enter the urban culture profession and exploit their creative potential in a dynamic sector.
